MARADEEN is an American rock band based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Founded by guitarist Whit Murray in the summer of 2014 with keyboardist Kaitlyn Connor and bassist Sterling Miller, the band formed their initial roots as a high energy rock n roll quartet. With classical and jazz improvisation backgrounds, they forged and evolved a unique and well-versed sound. In 2014, Thomas Galloway moved to Nashville for songwriting and began collaborations with Murray. The band entered the analog studio "Welcome to 1979" in the spring of 2015 and recorded their first full-length LP entitled, Mirage. The album features the initial hard-hitting rockers from the band's formative stage, while revealing the new songwriting dynamic between Murray and Galloway.

In August of 2015, drummer John Rodrigue rounded out the lineup, and the band set out touring heavily, honing their ever-evolving and electrifying live show that is never the same as the night before. In May of 2016, they re-entered Welcome to 1979 Studio to begin work on their second studio album, Above the Horizon, this time with Wes Bailey (keyboardist for renowned band, MOON TAXI) in the producer role. The album is comprised of all original material written by all five members of the band. The album  - from the artwork to the songs - continues to be widely acclaimed. MARADEEN is currently on tour all across the South and up the east coast.. from Louisiana to Vermont.

LITTLE BIRD

LITTLE BIRD

Start Time: 9:00

Little Bird (abbreviated nickname from childhood), began in 2010 as the brainchild solo-act artist Jay "Bird" H. Hurtt VI (Lothian MD). In 2013 the full-band formed including members James Rubush (Crofton MD), Chris Elvidge (Crofton MD), and Michael Ware (Crofton MD). What started in Hurtt's homemade basement studio would leave various recordings throughout the tail of their High School and early College years.

American Spirits (2013) and GROOVE (2015) debuted Little Bird to FM radio waves and would lead to pocketed audiences and a modest following throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The band would be named 1770 Records "Band of the Year" in 2016 after playing and headling various festivals such as Bay Funk, Pink Moon, Silopanna, Doah, EastPortaRockin' along with sharing the stage with the likes of G. Love & Special Sauce, Fortunate Youth, Long Miles, Zach Deputy, Boy Named Banjo, Jimmies Chicken Shack, Pressing Strings, Mo Lowda & the Humble and many more.

After various member exchanges, the Surf Rock/Jazz/Americana group began relentlessly touring throughout the East Coast early 2017. Hurtt, currently resides in Savannah, GA, attending Savannah College of Art and Design. The rest of the band is based out of Charleston, SC, including members James Rubush (Guitar), Ben Mossman (Bass), Oleg Terentiev (Drums), Noah Jones (Piano), Shelby McDaniel (Vocals), fronted by primary songwriter Jay Hurtt (Guitar/Vocals).

In October 2017 the band along with Engineer/Producers Shane Woods, and Jeff Lucci (Mo Lowda & the Humble) recorded at Headroom Studios (Philadelphia, PA). The self-titled Little Bird EP will be released April 2018.
