JOSH AND JOE PLAY DEAD
Presenting "Josh and Joe Play Dead" a Grateful Dead super jam, led by Josh Daniel and Joe May of Pluto Gang. This highly anticipated mini tour will combine Josh Daniel's road tested repertoire, which garnered national attention during the pandemic when he was recognized by Pollstar as the #8 live stream artist of 2020 after he performed over 300 consecutive live streams, and Joe May's enthusiastic brand of retro rock n roll, into one smokin' hot set of high-energy improvisation and interpretation of the Grateful Dead songbook. The two, backed by May's Month of Mondays Band, will bring a high-speed roller coaster of dueling guitars, screaming keyboard solos, and an inter-generational spin on a timeless catalog.

JOE MAY'S MONTH OF MONDAYS
Based out of Charlotte, NC - songwriter/keyboardist/producer Joe May, known for his work with Pluto Gang, has released his debut solo album and has built a high-energy live show featuring established local musicians. May has launched headfirst into this new act, with tens of thousands of streams and packed rooms arriving just as quickly as the project was announced. Fronted by May playing a 50-year-old Clavinet, loaded with distortion like a lead guitar, May's live act brings the jamming, improvisational spirit of Pluto Gang, in a polished and soulful retro pop context. "Bridging pop, soul, rock and R&B elements with vintage keyboard sounds, “No Party By That Name” is a collage of sonic textures — seamlessly floating between two-part vocal harmonies, sharp guitar riffs, and earworm keyboard soundscapes blending a multitude of genres." - Garret K Woodward, Rolling Stone contributing writer
